Addressing the 2×2 Church CSA Crisis Head On, Advocating for Safe Church Policy and Paving a Path to Healing

Survivors of child sexual abuse must be believed, supported, and given a voice in the healing process.

Our Story
Sometimes God asks us to do hard things. We started our online meetings in August 2023 to shine a light and open communication on the urgent crisis of child abuse within our 2×2 faith community, regarding the mismanagement by clergy.
Our goal was to create a platform where survivors’ voices could be heard and validated, fostering a deeper understanding of their experiences and promoting the need for change. As the series grew but there was very little change, we recognized the need for a dedicated space to advocate for meaningful change, leading to the development of our website.
Through comprehensive resources and a commitment to Safe Church Policy, we aim to support Survivors and empower Advocates to create safe environments for all, ensuring that the lessons learned from the past lead to a brighter, more secure future for children.
Our Mission
TRUTH
We are giving a voice to the Survivors’ open and honest stories by listening with the intent to stop the evil that has gone on for decades.
TRANSPARENCY
We provide education on CSA to promote empathy, advocacy & support for Survivors and encourage others to stand against these egregious crimes.
TRANSFORMATION
Our goal is to awaken the masses to this crisis so that they hold leadership and perpetrators accountable and complicity, cover-ups, and lack of transparency stops.
Through Truth, Transparency, and Transformation, we empower survivors and foster a safe and healing community for all.

Our Purpose
Our Purpose is not to influence any of you in any way except to encourage you to use these learnings to search the Scripture and get to know God even better.
What you choose to do is between you and God.
This is NOT for the purpose of causing division amongst us. That’s already happened. It’s quite the opposite! We are focused on communication for the purpose of growth and transformation so that all gatherings are safe for children.
It IS for honest, open communication in which we can all learn from the different levels we are each in as we deal with our grief, trauma and sorrow.
Bring clarity to bridge the gap on the current division, reminding all of us that we are all brother’s and sister’s in Christ who is the truth, the life, the way.
Reminder: It’s good to listen to understand instead of listening to respond.
Make an Impact
“Bridging the Gap on Child Sexual Abuse is focused on fostering conflict resolution through open communication, increasing awareness, and implementing effective policies to protect vulnerable individuals. Key components include:
Education and Training: Providing resources and training for leaders and members to recognize, prevent, and respond to signs of abuse.
Support Systems: Establishing accessible support networks for survivors, helping them to recover faster.
Transparency and Accountability: Encouraging open dialogue about past abuses and current practices, fostering a culture of accountability.
Collaborative Efforts: Offering clergy leadership the opportunity to communicate with us through our Zoom meetings and giving them statistics & education to implement a Safe Church Policy worldwide.
Empowerment: Ensuring survivors have a voice in the conversation, promoting their and needs within the community.
By bridging these gaps, we aim to create a safer environment for all attendee’s, particularly children, while fostering healing and trust within the community.
True faith demands unwavering integrity. Our church must be a sanctuary of trust and accountability or nothing will change.
